Mike Sullivan, Broker

Michael Sullivan joined The Nichols Company in 2007. Although a native to South Carolina, he has lived in and around the Charlotte area for most of his life and is very familiar with the dynamic growth our City has experienced, As a member of the Charlotte Mecklenburg Historic Landmark Commission for six years, Mike worked on a number of adaptive re-use projects: Among them, the Highland Mill #3 project in NoDa, W.T. Alexander Plantation in the University area, and the Old Charlotte Cotton Mill and Grace AME Zion Church located in downtown Charlotte. In his final year on the Commission he served as Chairman. Mike has extensive experience working with National Registry candidacy, use of federal and state tax credits for historic preservation and with issues related to design review of historic landmarks and historic districts. He has worked with numerous owners of historic commercial properties throughout the Piedmont helping them with the marketing, selling and leasing of their properties - Several in Pineville's Historic Downtown. Mike presently serves on the Charlotte East Development board (Vice-Chair), Charlotte Mecklenburg Planning Commission, Charlotte Zoning Committee, Charlotte Gold District Advisory Board and Preservation North Carolina.
